Santa's sleigh

I woke up this morning (after a good night’s sleep for once) to something called “Advent”. Kate and Darragh looked excited and there was a calendar hung on the wall with lots of numbers on it.

Apparently, Advent is a Western Christian thing where the birth of another baby called Jesus is anticipated. He must have been important for some reason.

At the end of Advent is a time called “Christmas”. Something that my brother and sister are obviously looking forward to! I’ll let you know if the excitement is warranted…
