The Charles Macklin Festival

The Wee Hall in Culdaff set up for an art exhibition

Almost ready for doors to open

My mum is an artist – I’m sure I’ve mentioned that before! She also helped set up the Inishowen Rural Arts Network.

As part of the Charles Macklin Festival, Inishowen Rural Arts Network were asked if they’d organise an art exhibition in the Wee Hall, Culdaff. They did it last year, so it seemed a natural thing to do.

Lots of local artists living in and around Inishowen came along and displayed their wares. We were up at the crack of dawn (as we always are!) to set up ready for the doors opening later on. I helped by keeping out of the way and playing with a football that daddy found!

The exhibition was open all weekend…
