One cat wondering why the other cat smells so bad

We live amongst farmland, with sheep and cows in the fields near our house. Our pure white cat, Snowdrop, loves to venture across the fields and into the neighbouring barns.

Today, we were wondering why the smell of slurry was so strong. We put it down to the muck being spread on the fields and the wind blowing the smell towards the house.

It wasn’t until we found Snowdrop, that we realised she’d brought the smell into the house!

We don’t know how it happened, but she was covered in slurry, absolutely covered from head to toe.
